In 2023, the village hall is planning to go green.
One of our enthusiastic committee members (Martin Moon) has done lots of research and hopefully lined-up substantial initial funding to install solar panels on the village hall in 2023.
Almost all of the hall’s electrical usage should become carbon-free, and there should be enough spare power to significantly reduce the hall’s reliance on oil-fired heating.
We are also hoping to provide a charging point for electric vehicles.
We will need to find more funding to complete the project, so, please, wherever you can, support the events we have planned to help us do our bit to save our wonderful planet.
