The village hall has begun a trial period of having a policy of welcoming our canine friends wherever practical.
Generally speaking, unless stated otherwise, well-behaved dogs will be welcome at all village hall events.
It is now common for dogs to be allowed in pubs and cafes so we’re optimistic this experiment will be a success.
So if you are interested in attending a village hall event but don’t want to leave four-legged members of your family at home, bring them along.
Note that this applies only to village hall events. Organisers of regular groups and non-village-hall events are free to decide if the same policy is appropriate. Contact the organiser if you are unsure about taking your dog along.
